Albana Romagna Sweet Zavalloni
Zavalloni produces a Dolce Albana di Romagna that expresses the varietal's typical sunny character and structure. Harvested slightly late to favor the concentration of sugars and aromatic complexity, it achieves a sensory profile where notes of ripe apricot, peach in syrup, and acacia honey blend with delicate floral nuances of broom.
On the palate it is enveloping and velvety, with a significant sweetness that finds an ideal balance in a pleasant mineral freshness and a slightly tannic texture characteristic of Albana.
The structure of this white wine reflects the identity of the Romagna terroir, making it an ideal companion at the end of a meal, paired with fruit tarts, Romagna ciambella (a type of ring-shaped cake) or medium-aged cheeses.
