Giorgio Poeta chestnut honey is born in the hilly hinterland of the Marche region from the flower nectar of Castanea Sativa Mill.
Amber in colour, tending towards dark tones. A strong honey, with a highly intense and pungent odor that recalls tannin or phenol. On the palate the taste recalls the scents of smell, pleasant and rather captivating.

Given its characteristic bitterness, Giorgio Poeta chestnut honey needs to be paired with cheeses that are not excessively spicy, but rather with sweet notes, mainly cow's milk.
