Moscato d'Asti Bel Piano Cascina Fonda
Moscato d'Asti Bel Piano Cascina Fonda was the winery's first bottled wine in 1988, produced with Moscato Bianco di Canelli grapes grown on the hills between Mango and Neive. Vinification involves a brief secondary fermentation in an autoclave to preserve the grape's natural freshness. The wine displays a bright straw yellow color with subtle greenish highlights, accompanied by an intense bouquet reminiscent of acacia and lime blossoms.
On the palate, Bel Piano is delicately sweet yet balanced by a savory character that never overwhelms. Excellent after a meal, it pairs well with hazelnut cakes, panettone, and fruit or cream-based desserts. Its light structure also makes it ideal for pairing with specialty cheeses like Castelmagno.
