Bitter Hantak
If you are wondering what Hântak means, know that in the Cimbrian language, Taus, it means Bitter.
The Hantak bitter by Viere Hante is an artisanal liqueur and is produced using medicinal herbs typical of Lessinia, an expanse of land north-east of Verona where this language, almost lost, has been handed down from generation to generation since the first centuries after the year one thousand.
At the first taste of this Amaro della Lessinia, you will be struck by strong balsamic and herbaceous notes while a pleasant bittering sensation will envelop you, released by Rue and Linden, two of the twenty botanicals that make up this almost magical potion. In ancient popular beliefs, in fact, Rue was used to exorcise and ward off witches and evil spirits.
