The Albana di Romagna Passito from Fattoria Monticino Rosso is a dessert wine obtained from the native Albana vine, cultivated for centuries in this region.

The grapes of this Albana undergo a late harvest, left in the vineyard to over-ripen and affected by the noble mold Botrytis Cinerea. This mold gives the wine refined evolutionary aromas, similar to those of the famous Sauternes wines.
