Ballindalloch Vintage Release 2016 Whisky is the second edition of the vintage series, aged for nine years in ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. This Single Estate, distilled with estate barley, maintains a traditional, artisanal style. The nose reveals lively notes of mandarin, tropical fruit, and a hint of vanilla.
On the palate, the structure is velvety with hints of passion fruit and caramel. The finish is long, with a fruity and elegant persistence. It's excellent at the end of a meal because its aromatic complexity and the sweetness of the sherry offer a refined and lingering finish, ideal for relaxing after dinner.
