Verduzzo Friulano Colli Orientali Grillo Iole
Grillo Iole's Verduzzo Friulano is a wine that expresses the strength and structure typical of the Colli Orientali, obtained from a slightly late harvest to favor the concentration of sugars and aromas. Careful vinification allows for a sensory profile where notes of chestnut honey, almond, and ripe yellow fruit blend with a characteristic and well-defined tannic structure.
On the palate, it is enveloping and full, with a never-overpowering sweetness that finds an ideal counterpoint in the mineral freshness and slightly bitter finish. Its decisive structure and aromatic persistence make it a perfect after-dinner companion, excellent paired with Friulian gubana, almond biscuits, or mature, flavorful cheeses.
