Riesling Auslese Enkircher Zeppwingert Villa Huesgen
This Auslese Riesling comes from the Enkircher Zeppwingert vineyard, characterized by steep slopes and gray slate soils in the Mosel Valley. The Huesgen family's production involves the manual selection of overripe bunches, often affected by Botrytis cinerea, to concentrate sugars and acidity. The aromatic profile features notes of ripe peach, apricot, honey, and subtle mineral nuances typical of the terroir.
On the palate the structure is dense and sweet, balanced by a marked citrus freshness that maintains its equilibrium.
Its persistent taste and aromatic complexity make it a perfect after-meal wine to pair with yellow fruit-based pastries, creamy desserts, tarts, or blue and mature cheeses.
