Marsala Angileri Vergine Secco Vintage 1999
Marsala Vergine Secco di Angileri , from the historic 1999 vintage. This Marsala DOC is not fortified with cooked must, but only with alcohol, and ages for at least 10 years in barrels. It has a bright topaz color and complex aromas of dried fruit, licorice, orange honey, and salty notes.
On the palate, it's dry, full-bodied, and savory, with exceptional persistence. Perfect as an aperitif with aged cheeses or as a meditation wine.
