Rum Gayuma Cased - Don Papa
Don Papa Gayuma Rum is a limited edition rum from the Philippines, aged in ex-bourbon American oak barrels, with an exclusive double finish: 6 months in toasted ex-Rioja barrels and a subsequent 3 months in ex-peated Islay whisky barrels.
On the nose it is intense and complex, with very evident peaty notes, accompanied by hints of vanilla, tobacco and citrus.
On the palate it is soft and enveloping, with rich hints of cocoa, spices, ripe fruit and tobacco with a persistent and complex finish, with pleasant smoky, spicy, dried fruit and molasses notes.
