JM is a renowned producer of Rhum Agricole from Martinique, a French island in the Caribbean with an Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) for its rum. Founded in 1845 by Jean-Marie Martin, the distillery is located in the northern part of the island, on the Fonds-Préville estate in Macouba, an area known for its fertile volcanic soil and humid tropical climate, ideal for growing sugarcane.
