Amaro Vermouth of Turin After Teatro Cocchi
The Amaro Vermouth of Turin Dopo Teatro Cocchi is a rare evening vermouth and was called Dopo Teatro due to the Piedmontese tradition of drinking a small cup of fresh vermouth accompanied by a lemon peel in the evening, perhaps after having attended some performance in one of the historic theaters of the Savoy capital.
This Vermouth was created based on Giulio Cocchi's original recipe where artemisia was enriched with rhubarb, quassia wood, chiretta and a double infusion of Cinchona.
The addition of Barolo Chinato to the base wine gives delicately red reflections and a further soft and complex note, in true Cocchi style.
