Rhum de Ile Maurice La Maison du Rhum
The Rhum de Ile Maurice La Maison du Rhum is distilled 30% in a still and 70% in a column. It has undergone multiple maturation steps: it is aged in virgin French oak barrels, in ex-red wine barrels and in ex-cognac barrels; it then undergoes a 15-month finish in ex-oloroso barrels and an 18-month finish in ex-single malt barrels.
At sight it presents an intense golden color. Delicate fruity aromas emerge on the nose. On the palate there are nuances of cooked fruit, accompanied by accents of cereals, soft spices and fine wood. The persistent and satisfying finish is enriched with notes of burnt caramel and spices
