Description

Pascal DARTIGALONGUE founded his House of Armagnac in Nogaro, in the heart of the Gers region, renowned for producing the best vintages. Their profound experience in the sector, transmitted with dedication through five generations, reflects their meticulous and demanding role as breeders. Annually, they dedicate their mastery to the distillation of white wines from the most prestigious origins.

Bas Armagnac is the region renowned for the most prestigious crus in the production of Armagnac. The Dartigalongue family has been dedicated to the distillation of carefully selected white wines for generations. The distillates, initially crystalline, age for a long time in oak barrels called 'pièce', developing a tannic structure and aromatic complexity. During this process, some of the Armagnac is dispersed into the air, known as 'la part des Anges'. This ancient technique, although not very efficient in terms of quantity, gives Armagnac great personality and depth.

Dartigalongue Bas Armagnacs age for at least 5 years, but some reach many decades. The vintage Armagnacs represent the gems of the maison, with historic vintages that require long maturation periods, offering intense and unforgettable tasting experiences. They are considered among the highest expressions of Armagnac
